We are so excited to announce a safe and fun way to support Downtown Fort Smith Arkansas small businesses! Drive down with the family for a safe & fun outdoor activity. Plus, by participating, you get a shot at prizes from your favorite downtown businesses.
We will post all clues on Friday, August 14th, at 10 am to the Facebook event page and social media. Click here to view the clues. We encourage you to wear a mask, stay six feet apart, and you can even complete this hunt without leaving your car! Once you solve a clue, snap a selfie in front of the business or just a business pic (if you’re not into selfies), post it to Facebook, Instagram or Twitter and use hashtag #ftsmithscavengerhunt. Please make sure you’re posts are public, so we can see them. Every pic you post of a solved clue is an entry for a prize. You will have from Friday, August 14th, from 10 am to Sunday, August 16th, at 8 pm to enter.
We currently have 13 prizes available from downtown Fort Smith businesses valued at over $275! We will pick the winners via a random prize generator on Tuesday, August 18th. They will be announced on the River Valley Web Experts Facebook page. Good luck, and have fun!
FAQ’s about the Small Business Scavenger Hunt
Q. How do I participate?
A. Walk, bike, or drive downtown and try to solve the clues. When you think you have the correct answer, snap a pic! It can be of the business, their products, or yourself in front of the business. Then post it to Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter, including hashtag #ftsmithscavengerhunt. That’s it!
Q. Do I have to buy something to win a prize?
A. Nope! See question 1 for the only requirements to be entered.
Q. Do I have to be the first to solve a clue to win?
A. No. We will enter all correct submissions into the drawing. You have from Friday, August 14th, from 10 am until Sunday, August 16th, at 8 pm to post your pics.
Q. How many prizes will there be?
A. Right now, we have 12 prizes. We will pick one winner for each prize, so you will have plenty of opportunities to win! Prizes and winners will be chosen at random via random generator. If you solve a clue, you may win that businesses prize or win a prize from another business included in the hunt. Winners will be posted on Tuesday, August 18th, on our Facebook page.
Q. Do I have to solve all the clues to win a prize?
A. Not at all! You can solve one clue or all the clues. Each correctly answered clue is one entry in the drawing for prizes. So more clues solved=more chances to win!
Q. Do I have to wear a mask?
A. We are asking that you respect the individual business requirements and observe social distancing.
